Seattle Sculpture Park

This week is our favorite new Seattle discovery -- the Olympic Sculpture Garden, an extension of the Seattle Art Museum.

Here is Richard Serra's (American, b. 1939) 'Wake'. The scale of these ships majestic, imposing, and yet graceful overall. You can walk in and around the towering pieces, viewing it from every angle. I missed the MOMA retrospective on his work last year, so I was excited to encounter Serra's work here.

You can find out more about the sculpture garden here

Definitely worth a trip if you're in the Seattle area!

Thanks, Erica!

You would never know I took this at 9 in the morning, it's amazing how Polaroids interpret the light.
