In the Northwest
Just returned from traveling around Seattle and Vancouver -- what a beautiful part of the world! It was my first time seeing Vancouver, so we explored Stanley Park, English Bay (shown here), Granville Island, and the neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant, which locals were calling 'the Brooklyn of Vancouver'... and of course, I always love Seattle.
Happy birthday, Gran and Oups!

gorgeous.
Granville Island was once an industrial manufacturing area, but is now a major tourist destination, providing amenities such as a public market, a large marina, a hotel, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
